(Introduction)

The plum tree is easily found everywhere. The plum tree has thorns. Plum is equivalent to betel nut. There are many species of berry. For example, wild plum, strawberry, pevandi plum, etc. Its tree grows very good lacquer. Its wood is used to make ploughs, carts, etc. Its dried leaves are beneficial for feeding animals. A small caste is called Borti in Maharashtra.

The pulp of the plum is sweet and strong and eliminates cough, asthma, thirst, gas, vomiting, burning sensation, and bile.

Harmful effects

Plum is a common fruit. Eating too much of it causes a cough. Raw berries should never be eaten.

Treatment of various diseases

Boil caused by the uprooted hair on any limb of the body:

Grinding and applying plum leaves reduces the pain of hair break.


Hoarseness (hoarseness):

Plum root should be kept in the mouth, or the plum leaves should be baked and eaten with rock salt; it is beneficial.

By keeping a piece of bark from the plum tree in the mouth and sucking its juice, the suppressed voice opens within 2-3 days.


Watery eyes:

Rub plum seeds in water and apply it twice a day for 1-2 months; it stops watering from the eyes.

Irritation in any part of the body:

Grinding plum leaves and applying it calms the irritation of any part of the body.

Trouble urinating:

Plum leaves (soft leaves) and cumin seeds should be ground and given to the patient. This causes urine to come out freely.

On the throat snake (circle of pimples around the throat):

The bark of wild plum should be rubbed and fed twice.

Bloody diarrhea:

Grind the bark of plum in milk and drink it with honey; it cures the disease of blood diarrhea.

Plum root and oil should be taken in equal quantity and given with cow's or goat's milk; it provides relief in bloody diarrhea.

Eating plum cures bloody diarrhea and intestinal wounds.

Chest pain or TB:

Grind 20 grams of plum or peepal bark in water and mix quadruple pumpkin juice in it and give it to the patient; it provides relief in chest and TB disease.

On the venom of the scorpion:

Finely grinding the leaves of plum and udumbar leaves and tying them on the bite gives very quick relief.

Mix equal quantities of plum seeds and dhak seeds and make a paste by boiling it in the milk of Aak for 6 hours. Rubbing this paste on the cut place of the scorpion removes the poison of the scorpion.

Vomiting:

The inner part of the plum kernels, the decoction of elderberry shoots and honey, honey, and sugar should be drunk; this stops vomiting immediately.

Give 1 gram of powder of plum root bark with rice water twice a day to the patient; it provides relief in vomiting.

Loose motion:

Diarrhea is cured by giving powder of the leaves of the plum tree to the patient with whey.

Make a decoction of the bark of the plum tree, then drink 20 to 40 ml of this decoction to get relief from diarrhea.

Eating raw plums also provides relief in diarrhea.

Grind plum leaves and mix half a teaspoon of mango kernel with a little kernel and consume it; it provides relief in diarrhea.

Leucorrhoea and Haemorrhage:

Take 5 grams of powder of the bark of the plum tree with jaggery in the morning and evening; it cures leucorrhea and blood. Eating powder of chanaberry bark with jaggery or honey is beneficial in leucorrhoea and blood pressure.

Take 1-3 grams of powdered bark with jaggery twice a day to get relief from leucorrhea and blood pressure.

Blood Pressure:

Mixing plum powder with jaggery provides relief in blood pressure.

Grind 10 grams of plum leaves, 5 grains of black pepper, and 20 grams of sugar candy, and mix it with 100 ml of water and drink it; it provides relief in blood pressure.

Stopping urination:

Mix the soft leaves of the plum tree and cumin seeds in water and grind them in water and make a cannabis-like syrup and filter it with a cloth and eat it; the urine stopped due to heat coming clean.

Smallpox:

In smallpox, giving the juice of plum leaves to the patient with buffalo milk reduces the velocity of the disease. Mix the powder of 6 grams of plum leaves with 2 grams of jaggery and feed it to the patient; it also eliminates smallpox in 2-3 days.

Make a decoction of the bark of the plum tree and its leaves and mix it with buttermilk and give it to the animals; their smallpox disease is cured.

In Oral Diseases:

Make a decoction of plum leaves and rinse it 2-3 times a day to remove mouth ulcers. If the mouth ulcers and the gums of the teeth have become loose due to taking any medicine containing camphor and saliva is dripping from the mouth, then it is beneficial to rinse the bark or leaves of the plum tree by making a decoction.

Abscesses:

By grinding the plum leaves and heating them, tying their bandage, and changing it repeatedly, the boils ripen quickly and burst.

Chronic cough:

Grind about 12 to 24 grams of plum bark and roast it with ghee, add rock salt to it, and consume it three times a day. It is profitable.


Conjunctivitis:

Eye pain, eye pain, etc., are cured by filtering the plum kernels thoroughly and putting them in the eyes.

Cold (Mussoorika) Fever:

By feeding the patient with plum powder, jaggery, vata, gall, and all types of mothers are cured immediately.
